Musication 4 Recap Video

We did it again! The 4th Annual Musication music and arts festival was huge success! 40+ artists from all over New York City donated some amazing video game themed art to go with the video game tournaments.  We had 20+ contestants in our video game tournaments, the winner all received cash prizes and gift packs from our sponsors.  Performances from some amazing young artists filled the stage for the night.  Over 200 people attended, and together helped raise over $2,000 for the Lark Fund.  The Lark Fund provides mini grant for music and art supplies to public schools on Staten Island.  If you missed the evening, take a look here at the recap video put together by Projectivity and consider contributing to the fund by selecting the Donate button at ProjectivityGroup.org and listing Lark Fund in the notes.  Thank you for your support and thank you to all our sponsors 5050 Skatepark, Soul Purpose Designs, Cornerstone Realty, MetroPlus Health Plan, A1 Funky Fun Mobile DJ, All-boro Handyman, Milk and Honey Tattoo, and Richmond Hood Co. See you next year!!!  #PROJECTYOURSELF

Art- Kwue Molly – Pronounced Q at Richmond Hood Co. Friday March 4th

One of the hardest working, most consistent artists on Staten Island is debuting his solo show “Pronounced Q” at Richmond Hood Co. this Friday, March 4 at 6pm.  Island native Kwue Molly, has been taking over the island with his large, bright colorful murals, both indoors and outdoors for the last 5 years.  His contribution to the public art scene on Staten Island is unmatched.
From private commissions including the enormous repainting of the Ralph’s Ice mural on Port Richmond Ave. to community based projects such as the Pillz Killz wall (a public service mural recognizing the pill addiction problem on Staten Island)  and the ColorBlind mural series, showcasing diversity in our neighborhoods, Kwue has been changing the landscape of Staten Island, setting the bar for other artists.  His work does not stay on the island though.  Kwue recently curated the interior design of newly opened Studio Kraut bar/lounge in Chelsea, Manhattan, as well participating in a number of art shows in Brooklyn, Miami, Denver and beyond.  His resume of high profile collaborations with artists and celebrities in all different industries (50 Cent, Renee Graziano of Mob Wives, Angela Yee of Power 105.1, Ghostface) has truly set him apart from other artists.
This weekend, get an exclusive look at some of his newest pieces exhibited at Richmond Hood Co. on Castleton Ave.  They will be on display for the month of March.  Come out for the FREE opening reception, meet Kwue Molly, and witness some amazing art of all different styles and prices.   Kwue has designed pieces for the amateur art collector, and also the hi-end gallery.  It will be a truly versatile show with something for everyone.
